I can say for my self that I have been drawing whole my life and I consider it to be a wonder that I have never ever questioned was it something worth doing or not. And I am not questioning it today.
It seems to me that everything was as easy as you can imagine. It started with one-page biography comics that I have been selling to my mother.
There was only one time, and it was in Technical High School, when I did not draw. But I realize now that attending that particular school helped me later to be patient with technical drawings and details. In the meantime the opportunity to publish my works from time to time has encourage me to continue. And I have to admit that I have been trying to find myself in different arts and got tired.
The relief came with contract with French publisher Soleil. The commitment I was running from turned out to be an excellent way of putting me into position where the only thing I have to think of is my work and it turned me from working on drawings that only I could understand.
